1. How can I register for a class?
Students can view and register for classes by visiting
here.
2. What is the refund/reschedule policy?
There are no refunds on K2 Defense classes however, you may transfer your registration fee to another student. If the class is cancelled by the instructor, students will receive a full refund. There are also no refunds in cases of accidental registration. If you register for the wrong class, your payment will be held and can be used towards a future class.
If you are unable to attend a class, you are allowed to reschedule once at least 48 hours prior to your registered class. Failure to attend the second class date will result in the forfeiture of any registration fees paid. You have 12 months from your original class date to reschedule and attend your new class. If you do not reschedule your class within 12 months, all registration fees will be forfeited.
3. Is there a wait list or registration deadline for the classes?
No, there is no waitlist. The classes are first come, first serve and will remain open until they are sold out. Please subscribe to the email list to be notified about all future classes as soon as they are posted.
4. Can men attend the Ladies Only Classes?
No, these classes are catered to women.
5. Can children attend these classes?
Yes, girls ages 12-17 can register and attend the women’s classes with a registered parent present. Both boys and girls ages 12-17 can register and attend the coed classes with a registered parent present. The class price is the same for children and adults. Texas License to Carry classes are limited to those 21+ years old.
6. Do you teach private lessons or private groups?
Yes, private lessons are available for $75/hour per person with no time or student minimums. Private Texas LTC classes can be scheduled for $150/person with a minimum of four people. Groups of eight or more can schedule Private Texas LTC classes at the regular rate of $75/person.
7. Does this class qualify for obtaining my concealed carry permit?
Yes, if you register for our classes designated as Texas License to Carry or Online Texas License to Carry. Once the class is successfully completed with a 70% on both the written exam and shooting qualification you will be qualified to apply for your Texas License to Carry permit with Texas Department of Public Safety.
8. Where are you located?
The lead instructor, Keenan Kelley is based out of Dallas/Fort Worth metro area.
9. Do I need a carry permit to attend your classes?
No, you do not need a carry permit to attend my classes. You only need a valid, state-issued I.D.
10. Do I have to bring my own firearm to attend your classes?
No, firearms are available for rent during class. We do recommend that you bring your personal firearm if you own one.
11. What safety precautions are you taking in regards to limiting COVID-19 exposure?
We are providing masks, hand sanitizer and Lysol wipes for all students. We are also sanitizing all surfaces and multiple use items. Masks are required for all students. If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to the virus, please do not attempt to participate in a class.
12. What is the dress code for shooting activities and classes?
Do’s: Full length t-shirt, long pants with belt loops, belt, closed toe shoes. Masks are required for all students. If you do not own one, We will provide one for you.
Donts: Tank tops, midriffs, low cut shirts, earrings, skirts, heels, flip flops, sandals.
